Gerolymatos International VET division was formed in 2012. The "Gerolymatos" name embraces a long history in the Greek veterinary market and is well-regarded by the Greek Veterinarian community; it was back in the 1950s that the late P. Gerolymatos engaged in this market. Gerolymatos International VET division was established in order to market and distribute veterinary products -with an emphasis on pharmaceuticals- in the Greek territory, both to pet owners and industrial farmers via the veterinarian distribution channel. In the poultry sector the division exclusively distributes the live Salmonella vaccine from IDT Biologika GmBh. Salmovac 440 vaccination fosters the formation of a sophisticated immunization program, contributing to the national control program of Salmonella in chicken. Since 2014, the division expanded its veterinary pharmaceutical product portfolio through collaboration with Affinity Petcare for the exclusive distribution of "Advance Veterinary Diets" - clinical nutrition for unhealthy pets. Affinity Petcare is part of the Spanish Group of companies "Agrolimen" and is considered amongst the 3 key European players in dry pet nutrition.
